We offer practical and emotional support, from the short to medium term,
for women moving-on from the refuge into appropriate alternative accommodation and/or
non refuge temporary accommodation.
The aim of this service is to bridge the gap between supported
housing (refuge) accommodation, and managing a new tenancy. We facilitate
residents in securing appropriate alternative accommodation by providing specialist
advice information and support to women making housing applications
to local authorities and Registered Social Landlords.
We assist with grant applications, assist with loans for furniture ,
and source information about the local amenities and community services
in the new area.
